Refund Policy
BEST.CURLS.EVER. Guarantee: Love It or It’s on Us
At Controlled Chaos, we want you to love your curls! If you’re not completely satisfied with your product, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered with our BEST.CURLS.EVER. Guarantee. To start the refund process, simply email us at info@controlledchaoshair.com with your name, order number, and reason for requesting a refund.
Once we receive your request, we’ll process a refund to your original payment method (credit, debit, or PayPal). For US and Canadian customers, a $10 shipping and handling fee will be deducted from the refund. For Other International customers, the refund will be minus the original shipping fee paid. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed, and depending on your card issuer's policies, the credit should appear on your statement within 10 business days.
Please note that all sales are final after 30 days from the date of delivery. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Terms and Conditions:
- Refunds are valid for first-time buyers/customers only.
- Refunds are not available if you’ve purchased more than one of the same product (e.g., multiple bottles of Curl Crème in different sizes or within bundles containing the same item).
- Refunds are not applicable on sale/discounted items including subscription orders.
- Refunds will only be issued for products purchased directly from controlledchaoshair.com. Products purchased from third-party retailers or distributors are not eligible for this policy.
- Proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt) is required for all refund requests.
- Controlled Chaos reserves the right to refuse any refund request that appears to be fraudulent or made in bad faith.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your product (as per the tracking number from the courier); no refunds will be issued after this period.
- Refunds may not be issued for products that have been substantially used or nearly depleted at the time of the refund request.
- Refunds are only available for products used as directed on the packaging. Products damaged by misuse, improper storage, or external factors (e.g., extreme temperatures) are not eligible for refund.
- Refunds are limited to one per household. Customers who have previously requested a refund are not eligible for a second refund under this policy.
Controlled Chaos carefully monitors refund activity to ensure fair use of our refund policy. We reserve the right to limit or refuse refunds if we suspect any misuse, such as excessive returns, the return of empty or mostly used products, reseller activity, or fraudulent claims.
Missing or Damaged Items:
- If your order arrives with missing items or damaged products, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing info@controlledchaoshair.com with your name, order number, and details of the issue.
- For damaged items, please include photos of the product and packaging to support your claim.
- We will either replace the missing/damaged items or offer a refund, depending on the circumstances. Shipping fees for replacement items will be covered by Controlled Chaos.
- Claims for missing or damaged items made after the 7-day window will not be eligible for replacement or refund.
- Controlled Chaos is not responsible for any damages that occur after the product has been delivered in good condition or for items that are misused or stored improperly.
